How to Create Conference Rooms?

What are conference rooms for and how they are different from adding person(s) to a call?

While creating the conference room, you will be mainly asked for a room number (extension) and a pin number. If any person calls on that number, he will be asked for a pin number as a password to enter the conference room and all the persons joining that conference room will be able to talk just like in a conference room. Make sure to select the destination of that phone number to a conference room.

It is different than adding a person to a call because in adding a person to a call you will have to manually add all the persons to the call while in conference room, you can just share the conference room number and pin number with the relevant persons and they will be able to join the conference room automatically. Following are the steps to create a conference room.

Open Phone:

After selecting the phone, on the top menu click conference room. Finally create a conference room.

Fill in the Details:

After creating the conference room, fill in all the details including unused extension, Name, Pin number and Description. Click save and you are good to go.
