FLOW Steps Breakdown

Understanding every FLOW Step

FLOWs are automated sequences you can build with FLOW Steps.

Each FLOW Step acts as a different "page" within the FLOW and each has its own unique function.

All Steps have the ability to add custom content which you can add with a standard WYSIWYG editor. You can also add Placeholders by clicking the {x} icon.

You can add a FLOW Step and create them as compulsory Steps or optional Steps.  To make any Step optional, simply toggle the button to 'Allow this Step to be skipped'.

IMPORTANT: When a Step is skipped, the Step will be considered "complete" and any configured Automations for that Step will be fired.

You can select any combination from the following FLOW Steps;

Read & eSign

This Step will create a page with an  eSign Signature Pad.

Click Edit content for user to Read & eSign to configure the contents of the Step page, which will appear above the signing area. A modal with a standard WYSIWYG editor will appear.

Custom Confirmation Message: This is the message that will appear above the Name field and the Signature Pad.

IMPORTANT: The {{ signatureText }} Placeholder automatically fills in when the Contact types in their name. If you do not include this Placeholder, their name will not appear within this message.

WHAT THE CONTACT SEES

The Contact must type their name to eSign or they can click the Sign tab and draw in their signature. If you add this Step but it is not compulsory you can toggle 'Allow this FLOW step to be skipped'.

Content / Embed

This Step will create a page with custom content with no input required from your Contact. You can use it to display information, embed videos for them to watch, etc. If it is not a compulsory step you can toggle 'Allow this FLOW step to be skipped'.

Click  Edit content for user to configure the contents of the Step page. A modal with a standard WYSIWYG editor will appear.

File Upload

This Step will create a page with a File Upload prompt. It will require your Contact to upload at least one File to continue unless 'Allow This Flow Step to be skipped' is toggled.

By default, the File will be uploaded to the Contact's Submitted by Client folder. If you would like to have the File uploaded into a specific folder, click Choose Folder and select the folder within the modal.

TIP: Files uploaded from a FLOW can always be found in Files > Client Files > [Name of Client] > Submitted by Client > FLOWs. You can also find them by viewing the FLOW's Submissions.
