An Auto-Template is a pre-configured set of Automations you can build and save. You can then reference them manually or use them in an Automated Workflow.

How do I use an Auto-Template?
Automatically trigger an Auto-Template in a Workflow
In an area of the Platform where Automations are available, click the +Configure Automations button. You can then select the Auto-Template from the dropdown menu at the top of the modal.
Applying an Auto-Template will NOT overwrite or remove any Automations you have already added.
Manually Triggering an Auto-Template
You have the ability to apply an Auto-Template directly from the CRM Dashboard of a Contact or Company.
Navigate to CRM > Contacts or CRM>Companies, and click on the Contact/Company you would like to trigger an Auto-Template for.
In the Available Automations section, click Trigger Automations Template.
You can then select an existing Auto-Template from the dropdown menu.
IMPORTANT: If you try to load an Automation Template with an Automation that is unavailable for that part of the platform, it will only load the available Automations.
Manually Triggering an Auto-Template to Multiple Contacts or Companies
Go to CRM>Contacts or CRM>Companies and select the targets you would like to apply the Auto-Template to;
Click 'Make a selection' and choose 'Auto-Templates' from the dropdown list;
From the Auto-Template window click the dropdown and choose your desired Auto-Template;
Click the Trigger button to apply the Auto-Template to all of your selected Targets.
Manually Triggering an Auto-Template to a Circle
Navigate to CRM > Circles and click the 3 dots to reveal the Options Menu next to the Circle.
Click the Auto-Template option to reveal the Auto-Template window. From the window, click the dropdown and choose the pre-created Auto-Template you wish to apply to the Circle.
Trigger Logic for Auto-Templates
You can set up IF/THEN statements for your Auto-Templates to trigger based on the logic you have configured.
Once you have your Auto-Template setup click Trigger Logic.
To start you will determine which users can trigger this logic. If you would like to apply to all users then you will not select anything from the dropdown. You can limit the trigger logic by Circles or select individual Clients/Prospects. Multiple Circles and/or Contacts can be selected.
We'll do an IF statement first with a Custom Field Value. Select the relevant Company Private, Company Public or Contact Custom Field from the dropdown then fill in the requirements. For instance, I have selected a Custom Field that is a Number Type. This opened up a new dropdown where I have selected Greater or Equal. I then typed 4 in the box next to it.
IF a Target that is a part of the Circle Onboarding: Movie Consulting has 4 or more accounts THEN the Automations I had previously configured for this Auto-Template will execute.
Now, let's do an IF statement with Today's Date EQUALS.
In the next dropdown, you can select a Specific Date, a Specific Date each Year, a Custom Field Date, or a Calculated Date. For this example, I selected Calculated Date and then chose a custom field from the dropdown beside it.
IF Today's Date EQUALS the calculated date that is in the date custom field for any of my Clients or Prospects, plus 3, THEN the Automations I had previously configured for this Auto-Template will execute for that specific Client/Prospect that triggered it.
Now, let's go back up and select EVERY for our Logic instead of IF.
Select Day, Week, Month, or Year, put in your start date, and determine if you would like this to expire or not. If it will expire, enter the date.
EVERY Day, starting on the 4th of November until the 4th of December, the Automations I had previously configured for this Auto-Template will execute for all of my Clients and Prospects.
You can add additional IF statements by clicking + Add New IF. After saving you will get a confirmation message.
