Posting to Instagram

When you're ready to publish new content, all you have to do is click the blue "New Post" button in the top right corner of your page. Alternatively, there's also the "Create New Post" link at the bottom of your posts list. You can either create a new post, upload CSV, or use Content AI.

New Social Post

Post To

Select Instagram as the Social media you want to post on.

Type Content

Type in brief social content, rich media, hashtags, and more in this field. Get creative with adding formatting elements like bolded and italicized text, images, and even videos before hitting the Publish button!

Preview In

You can preview all your content here before you post it.

Save For Later

You can save this update as a draft until you are ready to post it.

Post

When you click on the "Post" button, it gives you three (3) different sending options and delete options to choose from:

  • Post Now This will allow you to send this post to the selected social channels/accounts.
  • Schedule Post This will allow you to schedule a post for a later date or time. Choose the date and time from the calendar and time slot.
  • Send Post for Approval This allows you to send for approval first within your agency or organization. Choose the date and time from the calendar and time slot, and select an approver. You can add notes as well.
  • Delete If you want to delete any of your content, click on the delete button, which shows the "Delete confirmation" page. Be sure to want to delete it because it can't be undone!

Upload from CSV

You can also upload a post via CSV. Click on the "New Post" button and select the "Upload from CSV" button to direct you to the upload page.

Upload

  • The date format accepted is YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm: ss; You can use the 24-hour format. (example 2025/05/23 20:15)
  • The Text column will support captions and hashtags.
  • In the link column, it is an OG meta tag, and it accepts one link.
  • The image and video column will accept multiple image(s) and video(s) comma-separated. For GIF, it will support one GIF only.
  • CSV import supports up to 90 posts per CSV.

Select Socials

  1. Create a new CSV when you click the "New Post" button.
  2. Once the user adds the CSV file and Selects the Socials, there will be an option to Select an Approver.
  3. Once the posts are imported, they are reviewed by the chosen approver. Once approved, they are scheduled on the social calendar.

Instagram Requirements

While publishing the Instagram post and story, here are the requirements to follow:

Post

Instagram post allows you to add images to your list representing the product to people and how it looks. They have certain practices regarded as an image ratio.

You can create an image content AI or upload it from the media library:

1. Create images using AI.

  • Describe the image you want to post, and AI will give you samples you can choose from. Click "Try an example" to better understand how the AI works.
  • Select the number of variations you want your selected image style to have.
  •   Once you click on the image style you want, click the "Generate" button to direct you to the Image style variable you already selected. Choose the variable you like and click the "Continue" button to upload it.

2. Upload from the media library. Images and videos can help with social engagement towards your business.

  • The images should be in JPG or PNG format.
  • The picture's size must be between 10 KB to 5MB.
  • The minimum image resolution should be 250x250.
  • The photo should be related to the product.
  • The maximum amount of images allowed per post is 10.

Choose the ideal Video size:

Instagram Post allows you to add videos to your list that represent the product to people and how it looks. They have certain practices regarded as video size.

  1. The video's size must be between 10 KB to 5MB
  2. The minimum video resolution should be 250x250.
  3. Instagram Business supports a video aspect ratio between 4/5 to 16/9.
  4. The video should be related to the product.
  5. The maximum amount of videos allowed per post is 10.

📌 Please Note: Instagram is the only media that can include different media types in one post (images, GiF, and videos).

  1. The character limit for your Instagram post is 2,200.
  2. Use Bold, italics, emoji, hashtags, and custom values.

Story

  5. The maximum amount of images allowed per post is 10.

Instagram Story allows you to add videos to your list that represent the product to people and how it looks. They have certain practices regarded as video size.

  1. The video's size must be between 10 KB to 100MB.
  2. The minimum video resolution should be 250x250.
  3. Instagram Business supports a video aspect ratio between 4/5 to 16/9.
  4. The video should be related to the product.
  5. The maximum amount of videos allowed per post is 10.

Content:

  1. Instagram Story will not support captions for publishing posts directly.
  2. You can only add Videos and images.

Reels

Choose the ideal Video size:

Instagram Reels allows you to add only videos to your list representing the product to people and how it looks. If you have already connected your Instagram Business Account, you are one step ahead. Choose the Instagram Business Account(s) you prefer.

Once you select the accounts, they have certain practices regarded as video size.

  1. The video should be in GIF, MOV, or Mp4 format.
  2. The maximum video size is up to 1GB and the thumbnail is 8MB.
  3. The minimum video resolution should be 1920x3448.
  4. The video should be related to the product.
  5. You can only post 1 video at a time.
  6. Aspect Ratio - The dimension should be recommended at 9:16.
  7. Duration: 15 mins maximum and 3 seconds minimum

Content:

  1. The character limit for your LinkedIn post is 2200.
  2. Use Bold, italics, emoji, hashtags, and custom values.
